Title: OLOSHO PEPE
This artwork tells the story of a lady who sells her body to fulfill material desires. Yet, the vibrant colors in her background, represent a once-promising future she once aspired to. However, the lower part of the artwork which is adorned with cowries and a menagerie of animals underscore the message that those who descend to the depths of selling their bodies for money may, in the eyes of society, be likened to desperate animals seeking sustenance. This is a sober reflection on the choices people make when faced with the desperation of acquiring material wealth which may compromise their future dreams.
