Today, I'm launching @NoCBDC, a grassroots campaign advocating for Bitcoin vs Central Bank Digital Currencies.
Guerrilla ads and thousands of stickers have been distributed globally directing people to @NoCBDC where they can learn why Bitcoin allows us to opt out of a Central Bank-led dystopian future.
To expand the reach of the campaign and help defray some of the costs, the aluminum signs depicted in the video are for sale.
They are a signed, open edition encouraging widespread distribution. The signs ship free, include a sticker pack and are debuting at a discounted rate on Scarce City for 72 hrs. They increase 10% in price each 24 hrs.
There are five designs - each manufactured at the same facility utilized by government agencies. Get four and the fifth is included.
You are encouraged to put these up in your home as conversation pieces or in public for passersby.
Why the campaign?
Last week, several global banks partnered with the NY Federal Reserve to pilot a digital dollar. Many other countries are already in the advanced stages of CBDC research/implementation. And the recent FTX fallout has conveniently given global regulators an excuse to push forward even more.
Digital currencies aren’t new - it is the direct Central Bank oversight that causes concern. CBDCs give governments the ability to censor, discriminate and blacklist your money. Now is the time to educate the public about what lies ahead and how, in a soon-to-be-cashless world, Bitcoin allows us to fight back.
Thanks for your support!
