Painted mostly outdoors in his garden, I was deeply influenced by the surrounding nature in bloom which helped him translate the feeling he was seeking with this piece, one of peacefulness and satisfaction.

The frame has been created especially for the piece from reclaimed wood to reinforce the feeling of simplicity and is fully part of the art.
