FAKEPEPCASSO.PURPLE was created during the infamous 'purple period' in the Fake Rare community. As purple dominated the culture at the time, Zima Blue felt compelled to ditch his usual blue palette in exchange for his purple pastels
The original FAKEPEPCASSO is an interpretation of Pablo Picasso's Guernica, which expresses the horror of war
This purple version takes perhaps an even more sinister turn. A distraught mother holds her dead pepe baby, a bear swoops down from the sky to warn of a catastrophic market crash, Pepe's hand reaches out in desperation trying to escape
The piece has been professionally mounted & framed in London within a vintage solid wooden frame. It is signed & dated by Zima Blue on the reverse
